LEADERSHIPDirk Broekema III Chief Executive Officer 
Dirk Broekema established On Call Employee Solutions, Inc. in 1994 after spending 10 years in the mortgage and commercial banking industries. Since the organization was founded, it has helped more than 10,000 people find rewarding jobs in mortgage, accounting and finance, technical and administrative fields. On Call was recently a nominated finalist in San Diego Business Journal's "Best Places to Work" and the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce Award for "Excellence in Customer Service". Including his current role as CEO, Dirk founded four other successful businesses in the past 13 years with special expertise in mortgage banking, internet companies, and human capital management. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Dirk served as COO and EVP of Bowest Corporation, one of the nation's top ten residential mortgage servicing companies. Subsequent to Bowest, he was CEO of Camreal Data Services, Inc., a statewide computer service bureau serving 10 financial institutions with assets in excess of $17 billion. Outside of the office, Dirk is also an advocate for giving back to the San Diego community. Over the years, he has served on the Boards of The Century Club of San Diego, Crime Stoppers, The Old Globe Theatre, The Gillispie School, and was also a member of the Holiday Bowl committee. In 2001 Dirk was recognized by San Diego Metropolitan Magazine in its "40 Under 40" featuring men and women guiding business ventures that positively impact San Diego's business climate. Dirk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Arizona. Frank Casella III Senior Vice President, Sales 
Frank Casella joined On Call in 2007, bringing 25 years of accomplished sales and sales management experience to the organization. In his role as Senior Vice President, Sales, he is responsible for extending the company's market reach and optimizing existing client and consultant relationships. This focus includes creating cohesive sales and recruitment strategies for each of On Call's niche divisions, as well as comprehensive training, coaching and ongoing development of the company's sales force.Previous to his position at On Call, Frank worked as a Field Sales Manager for CDW, leading a team that sold and implemented hardware solutions for the United States Air Force. Prior to CDW, Frank spent six years as a Senior Account Executive at GTSI Corp, again working primarily with the United States Air Force. Frank began his career and spent more than 14 years selling commercial insurance with Sedgwick James, Barney & Barney, and Wausau Insurance Company. Frank attended the University of San Diego studying Business Administration Tom Esten Controller 
Tom Esten joined On Call in 2005 as Controller, bringing with him more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. His role at On Call includes overseeing all aspects of the financial operations for both the organization.Before joining On Call, Tom spent seven years as an Accounting Manager for HM Electronics, Inc., a privately-held San Diego-based electronics manufacturer that provides products to more than 80 countries. Prior to that, Tom was with Great American Bank's Financial Services Subsidiaries for seven years. He started as Auditor for two years and was promoted to Controller for his remaining time there. Tom earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Humboldt State University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University. Top |
