This critical People (HR) leadership position will be a trusted partner to the Americas Corporate functions and a key member of the Americas People Leadership Team.  You are a strategic and innovative thinker that has demonstrated experience in establishing effective relationships as a people manager and as a consultative partner.  You will lead a team of business partners focused on developing effective talent strategies to drive key outcomes and decisions on talent, organizational capability and leadership

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic business partner responsible for understanding the organization's business goals and providing creative and relevant business solutions and ideas
  • Act as a key team member within team of business partners responsible for designing and delivering people strategies across multiple geographies and corporate functions
  • Drive and facilitate talent management initiatives – coach leaders to have a talent management mindset, enabling employee growth and development
  • Build organizational effectiveness and change leadership capability to drive key outcomes, decisions and transformational change.
  • Act as a consultant to lead workforce planning and effectively partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure talent needs and diversity considerations are fulfilled
  • Drive insights through data to aid decisions on talent management and workforce planning
  • Work collaboratively with the People team Centers of Excellence to ensure the effective development of programs and tools to drive business goals; provide feedback on implementation and utilization of tools to ensure flawless execution; responsible for representing business needs to Centers of Excellence
  • Provide expert advice, coaching, and counsel to leaders and employees on People programs, policy and procedures, employment/labor laws, conflict resolution, change management, diversity, and organizational development and design to promote a fair and equitable work environment.
  • Lead complex employee relations issues and legal investigations on behalf of the business
  • Partner with internal communications to ensure alignment between internal communications and overall people strategy
  • Maintain current and complete understanding of Federal and State laws

Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Business, Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development or equivalent experience
  • 6-8+ years of experience as a successful HR Generalist with an emphasis in employee relations, workforce planning and organizational development
  • HR Professional certification and PHR/SPHR preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and flexible in adapting and responding to changing situations.
  • Ability to work independently, but a strong effective team player; commitment to results; solutions oriented; superior organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - ability to present, train, influence, and negotiate.
  • Strong interpersonal and business partnering skills along with project management and program development skills; effective partnering with key stakeholders to achieve success in attracting and retaining the best talent.
  • High-level of personal integrity and confidentiality
  • Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may be considered
