A Fortune 100 Financial Services company is seeking a Client Service Consultant in downtown San Francisco!

Job Summary

The CSC in Counterparty Documentation supports the derivative & security products CSC is responsible for supporting internal and external customers by providing a variety of support services in account management, documentation, and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and tracking of various legal agreements records covering derivatives and swaps for various lines of business.
  • Assist in managing shared mailbox by responding to requests which may include research to resolve any issues or forwarding requests to appropriate contact.
  • Monitoring reports to ensure data integrity of information in records in system of record which may include researching any inconsistencies and updating records as appropriate. 
  • Supports Counterparty Doc Negotiator with reviewing documentation, reviewing agreement terms, researching issues, and project work.
  • Serves as subject matter expert on reviewing documents and special projects related to regulatory matters.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and take direction from more senior CSC, documentation negotiators and attorneys and resolve issues and matters which may involve substantial legal or factual complexity. 
  • Facilitate the flow of information  and track receipt of incoming request with regard to loan and credit support documentation in addition to organizational documents of company customers. 
  • May draft Hedging Authority resolutions which identifies the signing and capacity authority for customers.
  • Responsible for requests for missing information/documentation to the appropriate parties and continue to follow up until the documentation packages are complete.
  • Verify the accuracy of records across systems including but not limited to legal name searches of customers and raise discrepancies with other groups as necessary.
  • May provide support to Sales teams requiring a high degree of written and oral communication.
  • Maintain databases to ensure that the status of receipt of prerequisite documentation is up-to-date and may be accurately relied upon for reporting. 
  • Prepare documentation packages for authorized signatures, including the review of counterparty names, signature blocks, and the consistency of the documentation with the client records.
  • Verify that legal agreements have been properly recorded in the systems.
  • Send /Track outgoing documentation and notify the Negotiators of any discrepancies. 
  • Review and resolve noncompliant items in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Provide guidance to lower level staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' experience in client service or related business experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity of derivative documentation and financial products (securities and/or OTC derivatives) a plus.
  • Experience with Filenet P8, Filenet 4.1 and Salesforce applications.
  • Plus if familiar with Markit site, ISDA site, Dodd Frank and GMEI.
