Securities Ops Service Specialist 4(San Leandro)

A diversified, community-based financial services company with trillions in assets is seeking a Securities Operations Service Specialist 4 in San Leandro.
Reconcile, match and investigate trades related to Foreign Exchange transactions.
Research and assist in finding solutions to all types of issues including, but not limited to trade capture, new, amended and settlement of trades.
Partner with teams outside area of responsibility to coordinate trade support requirements and resolution of issues.
Assignments may also include gathering and collating data as well as producing management reports.
Provides back-up for all department functions and must possess the ability to coach, train and provide feedback to new and existing staff.
Must be able to understand risks associated with foreign exchange vanilla and derivatives products, exercise good judgment and work within guidelines ensuring any associated risk is mitigated.
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Finance, Economics, Business or Accounting.
Excellent communication skills, ability to interact professionally with customers, business partners, peers and upper management.
Organized, team player with ability to learn quickly and operate with minimal supervision.
Previous customer service experience with resolution of complex customer service issues.
Must have a strong desire to work in a team-based environment while working independently to achieve objectives.
Problem solving, diagnostic and analytical skills are required.
Foreign Exchange related experience, preferably in an operations area.
MS Office Applications with advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Word.
Strong verbal and written communication, good time management and organizations skills as well as the ability to pay attention to detail.
Customer service experience, detail oriented, willing to learn, organized.
