An established non-profit healthcare organization seeks an HRIS Coordinator to join their team on a temp to hire basis!

Job Summary

The HRIS Coordinator maintains the HRIS database system for all personnel records, and runs bi-weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. The HRIS Coordinator is responsible for maintaining other HR technology related sites including the ADP Work Force Now, Learning Management System, and PayScale. The HRIS Coordinator is the liaison between the HR staff, Payroll, Managers and the IT Staff to ensure the HRIS technology needs of the department are met.

Essential Functions:

  • Inputs, supports, maintains and is responsible for data integrity in all systems in the Human
  • Resources HRIS system. Ensures accuracy, compliance and confidentiality.
  • Process and communicate employee changes accurately within semi-monthly payroll deadlines: new hires, separations, status changes and site changes, etc.
  • Provide HRIS training and customer service support to users.
  • Act as liaison between HRIS support and NCHS managers, leadership, and IT in relation with Time and Attendance issues in eTime.
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Immunizations, Payroll, and Benefits Departments to ensure integrity of information, timely transactions, and accurate tracking.
  • Run and distribute reports as requested. These may include PPD, CPR, and other internally required reports.
  • Conduct audits of Human Resources data to preserve data integrity and accuracy.
  • Assist in conducting root cause analysis when data integrity issues are discovered.
  • Assist in developing procedures for HRIS data management and identify process improvement
  • opportunities.
  • Serves as the primary contact for third-party vendors and integration services.
  • Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information
  • confidential.
  • Administer and maintain PAF process and notify appropriate departments.
  • Administer and maintain updates to HR metrics.
  • Produce standard new hire, employee rosters, separation reports, annual EEO-1 and OSHA Log
  • Bureau of Labor Statistics survey, and other various reports as needed.
  • Create demographic reports and other ad-hoc tasks and assignments.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree. 
  • 2 years of administrative support experience and data entry experience. 
  • 2 year of HRIS experience, preferably with ADP Work Force Now and/or in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong proficiency in HR technology platforms and applications, uploads, downloads and file feeds.
  • Expert attention-to-detail, multitasking, process driven, and time management abilities.
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel required, such as vLookup, Pivot Tables, and other advance functions.
  • Must have reliable transportation for travel to trainings and meetings, as needed.

Skills:

  • Ability to manage routine processes and prioritize tasks to meet payroll deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and reliable follow through.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of all ages and social and ethnic backgrounds, including patients, medical staff, co-workers and the public.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong organizational and customer service skills.
  • Ability to know when to act independently and when to ask for guidance and/or assistance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Implementation and project management experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with California Labor and Employment laws.
