A Dynamic Credit Union is seeking a Secondary Marketing Specialist in Anaheim, CA!

Position Summary:

This position is responsible to work with the Secondary Marketing Specialist II to conduct the lock-desk and loan sale activities. They are also accountable for the preparation and distribution of rate sheets, and completion of competitor pricing analyses. It is a staff position at the Anaheim Hills Operations Center location.

The primary loan products are mortgage loans and home equity loans/lines. The position has no direct reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Validates all rate-lock requests received for originated loans, including all data fields and pricing accuracy necessary to complete the lock process.
  • Inputs necessary lock data into the Prime Alliance system and distributes lock confirmations to applicable parties (loan officers; mortgage loan representatives; credit union clients; processors; etc.).
  • Monitors rate lock expirations, extends rate locks, completes re-locks and adjusts locks due to product changes.
  • Orders delivery commitments (mandatory or best-efforts) with secondary market investors as needed in order to sell loans.
  • Monitors outstanding secondary market commitment amounts and expiration dates, extends commitments, completes re-locks and adjusts commitments due to product changes.
  • Prepares and distributes rate sheets on a daily basis, and occasionally inter-day.
  • Prepares ad hoc reports as requested by management
  • Performs pricing calculations to ensure CMI gain on sale revenue is realized.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar or related field (e.g., secondary marketing, loan acquisition, etc.)
  • Knowledge of the mortgage lending industry, including selling loans to Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac, and private investors.
  • Work with numbers, spreadsheets and large amounts of data.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and the Internet
  • Familiarity with Prime Alliance and Calyx Point

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar or related field (e.g., secondary marketing, loan acquisition, etc.)
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related field (e.g., business, finance, accounting, marketing, etc.).
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and the Internet.
  • Experience with Prime Alliance and Calyx Point
