A large publicly traded company and on of Los Angeles’ premier employers is looking to hire a Project Coordinator to support a continuous improvement project.
Project Coordinator This position is responsible for the solicitation, negotiation and management of all applicable customer programs targeting residential or commercial/industrial customers in the service area.
Project manage the solicitation process of energy efficiency and energy technology programs.
Responsible for implementation and adherence to regulatory program rules and business controls.
This could be programs administered directly or through an energy efficiency contractor.
Responsible for management of schedules, tracking and oversight of projects, reporting and forecasting of programs budgets.
Regularly represents company’s interests and positions and works on a collaborative basis with regulatory authorities, energy efficiency contractors, key stakeholders, and other counterparts.
Assist in the coordination of and development of meeting/presentation materials, including administrative/logistical tasks of booking conference rooms and set up.
This position is expected to provide day-to-day assistance as an integral part of a strong team of professionals engaged in leading the above activities.
Ability to organize and manage large volumes of work, and project management skills are key to success in this position.
Initiate and complete work independently as well as excel in a team environment; plan and manage workload, and complete work under tight time pressures.
Ability to work under deadlines, multi-task and good analytical and communication skills are expected.
High School Diploma or GED
A valid driver’s license
At least 3 years of experience supporting large enterprise projects
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) essential
An advanced degree in business or marketing and/or experience in Energy Efficiency desired.
