Project Coordinator- Electrical Systems

A large publicly traded company and one of San Diego’s premier employers is looking to hire a Project Coordinator to support an internal constructions project services team.

  • Responsible for the coordination and notification of planned electrical outages for residential and commercial customers
  • Identifies impacted customers using internal management system to notify customers of Planned Outage using our automated letter system
  • Negotiates with customers to determine the best date and time to schedule power interruptions to minimize the impact to their business operation.
  • Conducts field investigations of sites prior to the outage to verify the accuracy of the customer list and communicates with commercial customers by providing outage details and preparation suggestions.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience related to project management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Computer Science or a related field .
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and/or construction services
