A dynamic and growing mortgage banker in Lake Forest is seeking a Closer Admin for their expanding Operations Team and remote work is an option!
Receive recorded deeds and title policies to scan and log into LOS (Encompass)
Send trailing docs to investors and log into LOS (Encompass) with tracking info
Monitor and work Trailing docs mailbox
Run reports out investor sites and follow up outstanding documents
Call title for Final title policies
Contact Escrow or County recorder for deeds
Generate Welcome/Goodbye letters (saving as PDF, uploading, printing, mailing)
Audit recording fee on deeds to the fee charged on borrower CD
MERS registrations and transfers.
Perform other general post-closing functions as needed
High school diploma or GED.
At least 2 years’ experience in the post-closing, title, settlement services or mortgage.
Knowledge of mortgage industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
Knowledge of mortgage loan documentation and the government insuring processes.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, etc.
Intermediate Encompass 360 skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time wisely.
Ability to work independently, analyze data, take, and recommend appropriate actions with minimal supervision.
Superior analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Resolution oriented with the ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills
