Established and financially strong credit union is seeking an Escrow Assistant for their Glendale, CA office with the following:
Escrow Assistant is responsible for assisting in the day to day operations of the Escrow Department. Accurate handling of all Escrow files. Assist Escrow Officers to set up files with title dept. for closings. Package all final HUD 1’s and Policies to Lenders.
Assumes responsibility for providing members with appropriate loan advice and products.
Insure that all new open orders from Lenders and or Brokers are opened immediately.
Make sure that a new Title Order is opened within 1 hour of a new Escrow order.
Order demands for all open liens and or trust deeds.
Properly set up recordings with Title Department.
Minimum of two (2) year's experience with an escrow company.
Possess thorough knowledge of conforming and non-conforming investor loan guidelines.
High School Diploma required.
Good communication and customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Produce clear, grammatically correct written communication internally as well as to members and outside parties.
Good attention to detail and organization.
Satisfactory completion of established goals and objectives.
Computer proficiency in PC applications.
Read appropriate material to remain current in marketplace standards.
Adhere to all credit union employment policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Perform all duties outlined above in a timely and thorough manner with minimal errors.
iClosings program knowledge preferred.
