Our client is a new mortgage broker and because of this there is a lot of room for growth! Their team is extremely close and a positive culture is key to their business model.
They are looking for a motivated, organized individual who is resourceful, has a problem-solving nature and very attentive to detail. This person will be required to verify qualifications and communicate concerns. This person MUST have loan qualification experience and be VERY strong in loan qualification guidelines and terms. The Loan Officer will NOT be reviewing your qualification ability. This is something the person in this role will be expected to be knowledgeable of from hire date. Organization and qualification knowledge is key for this specific position.
Responsibilities:
This position is the glue to the customer service experience
Pre-approve all leads
Structure all loans
Taking loan app
Finding out payment preference, cash to close, etc.
Quoting pricing / payment
Sending pre-approval
DU and POF to realtor
Get BA signed
Explain closing costs
Rounding up all documents for all transactions
Rounding up all conditions from Underwriting for all transactions
Running Data Verify
Requesting and Inputting Fees from Escrow for LE
Going through Closing Disclosure with client
Setting up signings
Making sure final wire submit for funding (if applicable)
Making sure wire comes from account sourced
Sending wiring instructions from escrow
Advising on title/escrow for all refinances
Scheduling signing with notary
Weekly Updates on all purchases for Agents and Buyers
Running credit and analyzing credit to advise on any possible issues
Setting up file–completing full loan app
Run DU–check PIW code
Review Prelim and Transcripts when they come in
Confirm impounds if applicable
Confirm Vesting
Income Work Sheets, Sam Work Sheets, Rental Work Sheets
Review file to analyze whether full or limited review for HOA–if applicable
Let LO know when it is okay to lock loan
Get Home Owners Insurance Quote in for all purchases
Confirm Comp and which LO loan should be set up in
Make sure all contingency deadlines are met–if close to deadline make sure to get manager involved to help expedite
For example:
CD to go out by certain date to meet COE
Loan to leave Qual after 1 day
Loan to leave processing after 1 day
UW approval within 24-48 hours
Tracking process to be sure we meet deadlines
Pipeline manager to help assist here in expediting with you
Basic Qualifications:
Recent Loan Processor or Loan Officer Assistant work history within 2020
Processing or Loan Officer Assistance experience (3+ years)
Encompass Experience
