A dynamic and growing mortgage banker in Lake Forest is seeking a Post Closer Specialist for their expanding Post Closing Team and remote work is an option!
Clear all conditions received from investors in a timely manner so the loan can be purchased within 20 days.
Work between Operations and Investor contacts to ensure loans are purchased in a timely manner.
Follow up on requests with a focus on aging loans, using all company resources available, to retrieve copies of missing documentation per investor request.
Responsible for updating LOS (Encompass) with any new and or updated conditions. • Retrieve purchase advice and send to warehouse bank. • Manage and follow-up of personal pipeline to ensure files are processed in a proper and timely manner. • Perform other general post-closing functions as needed
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in post-closing.
Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing with employees and investors.
Strong attention to detail. Must be detailed oriented as some tasks require precision to keep mistakes at a minimum.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, highly demanding environment.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must possess good judgment and problem-solving skills.
Effective critical thinking, analyzing, and error proofing skills.
Ability to adapt to changing conditions regarding job procedures and workflow processes independently with minimal supervision.
High level of integrity, adapts well to change, resourceful and a self-starter.
Ability to understand and strictly adhere to state and federal mortgage lending regulations.
Excellent customer service skills.
