Dedicated mortgage lender in City of Orange seeks a Funder.
Primary Job Functions:
Responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service by producing timely, accurate, and thorough closing documents. Ability to review executed documents returned from closing agents for accuracy per investor guidelines. Additionally, responsible for delivering quality customer service to closing agents, investors, warehouse banks, and internal departments.
Responsibilities:
Perform daily doc drawing functions to required expectations
Ability to problem solve during doc drawing process with branches, investors, closing agents, warehouse banks, and settlement agents
Assist in problem resolution of errors identified by Post Closing/Investors
Provide quality customer service to branch offices, closing agents and departments over the phone, in writing, e-mail and face to face
Effectively communicate with branch offices, closing agents and co-workers
Commitment to company values, policies and procedures
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Provide and maintain effective and positive communication with branch offices, closing agents, warehouse banks, underwriters, compliance, post closing, investors and all co-workers
Effectively analyze and resolve problems at a functional level with branch offices, closing agents, underwriting, compliance, post closing and all co-workers
Ability to quickly learn new or different techniques, products and computer programs
Basic Qualifications:
At least 3 years as a Funder with Doc Drawer/Closing Disclosures experience in the last year
Encompass experience required
TRID knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
Basic computer proficiency – the ability to effectively utilize required software packages, Word, Excel, Outlook
