A reputable credit union company seeks a Loan Servicing Specialist for their Glendale office. Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, performs all phases of Commercial Real Estate and Business Loan servicing functions.
Principal Accountabilities (95%)
Process regular loan payments, loan payment reversals, loan payment corrections
Process loan payment recoveries
Resolve loan payment exception/rejected items
Investor loan payment remittance
Assist with Investor month-end reporting
Provide support to loan investor inquiries
Process loan servicing requests
Research and resolve Borrower issues or disputes
Respond to Borrower inquiries or escalate to Manager’s attention as appropriate
Work collateral insurance report, communicate with Borrower and/or Insurance Agent
Process disbursements for insurance invoice payment for escrowed loans
Process disbursements for property tax payment for escrowed loans
Review and work reports from Tax Service provider to ensure proper monitoring
Track and Mail Notification to Borrower of delinquent property taxes
Set up Escrow Accounts and run Escrow Analysis per Borrower’s request post funding
Assist with Annual Escrow Analysis
Prepare loan payoff demands
Process loan payoff transactions
Work paid loan reports to release collateral liens
Work UCC monitoring reports and terminations
Audit loan rate changes and payment calculations
Assist with QC of new loans and Investor loan sales
Assist with SBA Colson reporting and remittance
Process full and partial loan charge offs
Assist with Year-End reporting and Form 1098
Review several daily; weekly; monthly DNA generated loan reports
Secondary Accountabilities (5%)
Perform other duties as assigned
Assist with special projects
Provide support to other areas of the department
Complies with BSA requirements as commensurate with position
At least 3 years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience
Excellent abilities and skills with attention to detail, organization, communication, and customer service.
Must be able to adapt to change; to multi-task; and to resolve member (internal and external) situations in a timely and responsive manner.
Working Knowledge of Commercial/Business loan terminology and documents. Working knowledge of DNA.
Proficient use of PC applications and related programs, including Microsoft Office Suite (excel and word)
