Job Title:
Closer/Closing Disclosure Specialist

Direct Hire


A dynamic and growing mortgage banker in Lake Forest seeks a Closer/Closing Disclosure Specialist to join their team on a Direct Hire basis with a remote option.


  • Prepares closing loan package for all loan types
  • Prepares Closing Disclosures
  • Contacts Title Companies, Attorneys, Loan Officers, Processors and Insurance Companies to obtain documentation necessary to close mortgage loans
  • Monitors loan status on a continual basis to ensure that timely/qualify standards are achieved.
  • Manages Closing Docs email accordingly
  • Advises all parties of any changes or issues that may occur to ensure high quality standards and customer service
  • Responsible for balancing loan figures with Escrow prior to drawing CD and Closing Documents

Basic Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience drawing loan documents including closing disclosures
  • 4+ years of proficient/strong knowledge working in Encompass

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of TRID
  • Team player with strong written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated and ability to manage daily responsibilities
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
