Supply Chain Manager

 

A large publicly traded company and one of Los Angeles’ premier employers is looking to hire a Supply Chain Manager with previous responsibility for overseeing procurement policies, standards, analytics, systems, reporting, training, risk, finance, and strategic programs. This includes activities associated with the processes of planning, sourcing, acquiring, managing, materials and services contracts. Experience with category management and strategic sourcing initiatives.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support management of ongoing supply chain process improvement activities
  • Assist with thorough review of supply chain documents
  • Support change management efforts
  • Oversee implementation of supply management improvement projects
  • Develop and implement supply chain KPIs
  • Develop presentations for Leadership
  • Support Supply Chain strategy development and execution
  • Contract Management
    • Assist review of contractor’s Procurement Plan and provide input
    • Support development of a RACI for Supply Management
    • Support review and provide input on contractor’s Critical Procurement activities (RFP documents, bidders list selection, evaluation process
  • Develop and implement Supply Chain strategic initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Category Management or Strategic Sourcing
  • A minimum of 5 years of contracting experience with complex procurements
  • A minimum of 5 years of managing organizational change management efforts
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with project Management

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to thrive largely independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to lead and manage teams
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate or above skill level with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe PDF,
  • Intermediate or above skill level in managing virtual meetings, utilization of virtual collaboration tools such as Miro
  • ISM Certification
