A large publicly traded company and one of Los Angeles’ premier employers is looking to hire an Engineer (Level 1) to provide support to an internal engineering team that compiles data for engineering compliance and oversight.
Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the integrity management program. Areas of responsibility and/or involvement include: managing data analysis of multiple assessments projects, making detailed engineering calculations and evaluations on pipeline defects and conditions, evaluation and processing of inspection data, developing procedures and processes for accomplishing compliance with assessment regulations, coordinating and managing pipeline field inspections, writing engineering reports, and communications. Working within the framework of the current Integrity Management Plan, Standards, and Form Instructions, work to streamline processes and procedures to meet compliance requirements, integrate/consolidate data acquisition and storage methods. Develop working knowledge of State and Federal regulatory codes, industry standards, and company standards impacting Integrity Management. Support the development of Company projects.
A bachelors degree in any engineering discipline (mechanical, industrial, environmental etc.)
A valid California driver license.
Strong understanding of data analysis in MS Excel including pivot tables and vlookups.
Experience with PowerBI and VBA (Visual Basics)
Experience in inspections/technology, pipeline integrity management, or operations/maintenance/design or training in metallurgy.
