Assistant Office Manager

A general contractor, with high-end residential and commercial projects, is seeking an Assistant Office Manager to support their office in West Los Angeles.

As the Assistant Office Manager, you will be responsible for providing office administration and reception support including: answering calls, ordering office supplies and managing inventory, greeting visitors and delivering messages, and providing general administrative support for firm’s employees. As the Assistant Office Manager, you will have the opportunity work alongside a tight-knit team with extensive industry knowledge and an inviting culture. This is a direct hire opportunity and you must be able to work 100% onsite in the corporate office Monday-Friday.


  • Representing company via phone and email to the public, clients, subcontractors, vendors and employees.
  • Screen and return telephone calls, correspondence, and emails
  • Acting as a hub for all business operations so communication and information flows efficiently.
  • Managing all office and business supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Light administration with management such as record keeping, format reports, data entry, filing and other documents
  • Overseeing and completing various projects and tasks as needed by Senior Office Manager, Principals and Controller with regard to ongoing construction operations, permits, licenses, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ year of prior Administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Prior experience working within the construction industry a plus
  • Highly organized, attention to detail
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
