A dynamic and rapidly growing leader in healthcare services is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their finance team. As the Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for compiling, validating, and analyzing data to support the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing reports for upper-level management
  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and “clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct problems
  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Maintains client confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
  • Collaborate with data submitters to resolve data quality issues.
  • Prepare analytic reports and evaluate results of healthcare quality analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 4+ years of prior experience working with data management systems
  • Proficient in MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters and information with the highest level of discretion.
  • Prioritize daily issues, tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working independently; self-starter with a strong work ethic.
